Whether you would like to finance all of your training or just complete a certificate or rating, there are great financing options available.

 

TRAINING PROGRAMS

Private Pilot

Becoming a pilot can be one of the most rewarding accomplishments in a person’s life. Being a pilot is much more than stick-and-rudder skills; it involves personal motivation and overcoming challenges.

 

Requirements

To obtain a private pilot’s license, you must:

  • be at least 16 years old to Solo

  • be at least 17 years old to Test for the Pilot Practical Exam

  • have a current FAA third-class medical certificate

  • log at least 40 hours of flight

  • have at least 20 hours of flight with an instructor

  • have at least 10 hours of solo flight

  • pass the FAA Private Pilot Airmen Knowledge written test

  • pass an FAA Private Pilot Practical Exam

 

Our curriculum takes you through three phases of learning:

  • initial/presolo

  • advanced maneuvers/cross-country operations

  • preparation for the practical exam

Instrument Pilot

An Instrument a good thing to have in your pocket just in case you need it.  It is also another important step to a career in aviation. Finally, you will increase the productivity of your personal or business flying.

 

Requirements

To obtain a private pilot’s license, you must:

  • have a current private certificate or concurrently applying to have one

  • have a current FAA third-class medical certificate

  • at least 50 hours of cross-country flight time as pilot in command. 

  • a total of 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time 

  • at least 15 hours of instrument flight training from a CFII.

  • pass the FAA Instrument Airmen Knowledge written test

  • pass an FAA Instrument Practical Exam

Commercial Pilot

Corporate pilots fly aircraft owned by business and industrial firms, transporting company executives on cross-country flights to branch plants and business conferences. They arrange for in-flight passenger meals and ground transportation at destinations, and are responsible for supervising the servicing and maintenance of the aircraft and keeping aircraft records. 

Requirements
  • be at least 18 years of age

  • be able to read, speak, and understand the English language

  • hold at least a private pilot certificate

  • have at least 250 hours of logged PIC flight time

  • pass the FAA Commercial Pilot Airmen Knowledge written test

  • pass an FAA Commercial Pilot Practical Exam

Flight instructors are in high demand right now, and this particular career path is expected to remain in demand for quite a few years due to the major airlines losing Captains aging out.

Requirements
  • be at least 18 years of age

  • be able to read, speak, and understand the English language

  • hold at least a commercial or ATP pilot certificate

  • have prepared flight lessons

  • pass the FAA the Fundamentals of Instruction Exam

  • pass the FAA Certified Flight Instructor Knowledge Exam

  • pass an FAA Certified Flight Instructor Practical Exam

Certified Flight Instructor

Airline Transport Pilot

An airline transport pilot (commonly called an "ATP") is tested to the highest level of piloting ability. The certificate is a prerequisite for acting as a flight crew-member in scheduled airline operations.
