Michael O'Neal

Michael O'Neal is our Chief Flight Instructor. He is responsible for the check out of all Certified Flight Instructors (CFI's) at SkyBound Aviation. Michael, along with the other CFI's, will check out a renter or student in any aircraft at SkyBound in addition to instructing and providing commercial piloting services. Michael's other responsibilities at Skybound Aviation include oversight of aircraft maintenance and scheduling. Michael operates for Skybound Aviation through AV8 Inc.; Skybound Aviation purchased AV8's assets September 2006.

Michael O'Neal has been in the aviation industry since 1970, and his ratings include commerical pilot with instrument rating, single engine land, multi engine land, flight instructor and instrument flight instructor. He has over 20,000 flight hours, of which 80% are in instruction. Michael has flown and instructed in single engine land, multi-engine land, complex, and high performance aircraft, and has been flying in the Atlanta area for over 20 years.

Pascale Raynier

Pascale is a dedicated professional independent instructor, who can instruct and provide private pilot services. Her ratings include commercial pilot with instrument rating, single engine land, multi engine land, and flight instructor. Pascale has been in avaition over 10 years and has over 5000 hours, 80% percent of which are instructing.

Kerwin Day

Kerwin is a career professional independent instructor. He is a CFII who can instruct and provide private pilot services. His ratings include commercial pilot with instrument rating, single engine land, multi engine land, flight instructor, instrument flight instructor, and atp. Kerwin has been flying for 40 years and about 75% of his hours are instructing.

David Ortiz

David is a professional pilot and flight instructor. He is a CFI and currently work on his Instrument Instructor Rating. Melissa Bermudez

Melissa is a commercial pilot and flight instructor with CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings. Melissa did her training in central Florida and has chosen to come work at SkyBound Aviation. Jeff Kidd

Jeff is a part-time flight instructor balancing flying with his computer software consulting firm. Jeff began flying seriously in 1995 . His ratings include Commercial Pilot SEL/MEL Instrument (1997), Flight Instructor SE/ME Instrument (1997-1998), Commercial Pilot Glider (1999), and Airline Transport Pilot MEL (2000). Jeff has over 3,000 hours total time with 1,000 of those hours instructing. Email Jeff.

Jim Archer

Jim is an Airline Transport Pilot, FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Certified Flight Instructor (Instrument), Multi-engine Instructor, and Advanced Ground and Instrument Instructor, as well as a Gold Seal instructor.

He does his best to communicate effectively with his students and to listen patiently and objectively, and deals with training issues thoroughly and fairly.
